Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, Hollywood glamour steal the show at Palm Springs Film Festival.

It's the first big celebrity awards gala of the year and Johnny Depp and Amber Heard didn't disappoint as they arrived together for the Palm Springs Film Festival in California.

The A-list couple showed up Saturday night simply oozing Hollywood glamour. While Johnny, 52, played it straight down the line in a black designer tuxedo, his wife stunned in a transparent black fishtail gown.

Amber, 29, went full-on blonde bombshell with her look that featured a strapless bustier underneath the sleeveless transparent bodice.

She preserved her modesty with a nude slip that fell to just above her knee as her full-length dress fanned out around her feet in a small train.

Her long blonde hair was styled in voluminous soft curls that fell around her shoulders. Johnny, not to be outdone in the hair stakes, opted for an asymmetrical look with loose hair flopping down to his chin on one side and slicked back behind his ear on the other.

Supportive spouse: Johnny waited patiently as Amber basked in the glow of flashbulbs.

Wedded: The celebrity couple married in February after dating for three years. Johnny was previously in a long term relationship with Vanessa Paradis with whom he has two children, Jack and Lily-Rose.

Delighted: Goatee'd Johnny happily showed off his award for Black Mass.

Kate Winslet showcases her perfect hourglass figure as she kicks off awards season at Palm Springs Film Festival

Kate Winslet oozed body confidence as she arrived at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in a form-fitting designer gown.

The English actress, 40, made the most of her hourglass figure in the full-length sleeveless black dress that was perfectly cinched at the waist.

The mom-of-three showed off her voluptuous curves with a v-shaped neckline and a clingy skirt that pooled around her feet.

Kate wore her dark blonde hair in a messy chignon that showcased her gorgeous diamond earrings.
She was at the awards gala on Saturday night to honor her Steve Jobs co-star Michael Fassbender and present him with an award.

The actress arrived at the star-studded bash without third husband Ned Rocknroll, the father of her youngest child Bear, two.

Kate, however, was among friends at the glitzy event. Honoree Johnny Depp made a beeline for the six-time Academy Award nominee who won an Oscar for The reader when he spotted her on the red carpet.

The pair starred together in the 2004 film Finding Neverland and they greeted each other warmly with a big hug.

Good to see you! The English rose and the American actor, 52, greeted each other warmly

Kate also got to hang out with Fassbender inside the awards dinner and they were photographed enjoying a laugh or two together.

She presented the German actor with the film festival's International Star Award for his performance as the late Apple founder.

In the movie she plays Joanna Hoffman, Jobs' confidante and Apple marketing executive.

Paid tribute: Kate was at the film festival to present an award to her Steve Jobs co-star Michael Fassbender.

The Titanic star recently revealed that in order to get the part, she sent a plain-looking selfie to the film's producer Scott Rudin.

'Joanna didn't really wear any makeup and (I) put on this short, dark-haired wig and a pair of glasses.  And I took one photo, and I just sent it by email to (him),' she said in an interview to air this weekend on CBS Sunday Morning.

She also emphasized how much she wants girls and young woman to understand that she doesn't look in everyday life the way she does on magazine covers and red carpets.

'You know, we walk down red carpets. You know, it's part of the job,' she explained. 'But I think I feel very strongly that it's important to also say to young girls that we don't look like that all the time.'
