She always puts fashion first - even at the expense of her own comfort. Yet as she stepped out in a typically towering pair of heels on Monday, Kim Kardashian revealed she was starting to pine for a simple pair of flip flops.
'My feet are starting to swell,' the heavily pregnant reality star said in the latest Vogue Podcast.
However Kim stuck to her usual style as she tottered alongside her friend Jonathan Cheban on her way to their lunch date.
The 35-year-old teamed a form fitting black dress with a loose jacket thrown over her shoulders.
Her large bump was on display in the dress, which clung to every curve, while a simple ponytail kept her hair out of the way.
A choker was Kim's only embellishment, and she carried just a phone in her hands.
Her outing came as she told her friend, Vogue's Andre Leon Talley, that she was nearly done with heels.
'It's getting hard,' she said of her second pregnancy.
'A friend of mine emailed me and said, "Have you given up?" and I said, "Why, what do you mean?" and he said, "You're wearing flip flops. I saw a photo of you in flip flops," and I said, "Yes, I've given up at this point."'
She adds: 'I was getting on a plane and my feet were swollen. I'm to the point now where my feet are slightly starting to swell - not as bad as before - but they're getting there.

'Today I'm wearing heels and they're fine. I think in spurts they're OK at this stage.'
A heavily pregnant Kim memorably squeezed her feet into a pair of perspex heels while pregnant with daughter North two years ago.
Her second child with husband Kanye West - a son - is due around Christmas.
